Lately, I've been, I've been losing sleep...

Oh goodness, I have not updated this in a while! I'm just so busy all the time, you know? Well, here's a few things I've been thinking about/ doing over the past few months:

*I went to Kansas City for a work conference the end of October. I know I posted pictures on my Facebook page, but here's a few highlights:

It was really cool. I learned so much about the scheduling system we use, and have already implemented many ideas that were presented there. I sometimes wish I did not have to wait for other people to make some changes, but overall I am making a lot of changes, and am planning on making more. I kind of love my job. 

*I turned 24! I was so excited! I feel like I'm finally an adult. I feel like people will finally listen to me, and respect me. It's great. I'm actually really looking forward to this year. :) For my birthday I went and say Thor 2, horseback riding, had a birthday party at work and with friends, and.... went to Michael Buble's concert!!!!!!! I'm in love him. I'm pretty sure we're soul mates. Here's one of my favorite Christmas songs of his. He didn't sing it there, but it's Christmas time, so this is one of the only times I can share it! :

*I went to Idaho for Thanksgiving to visit my parents, and spend the holiday with them. It was great. Well... visiting them was. I miss New Mexico terribly. It really hit me this over the holiday, because I'm so used to my family all being together for the holiday's.... in New Mexico... with all the beautiful New Mexico-ness around us. I really miss New Mexico. *sigh*... anyways, it was great. We had a great time hanging out, playing games, eating, going Black Friday shopping... so fun! I just adore my family! 

*Speaking of family... my little brother, Richard, got home from his mission!!!! I am so beyond excited that he's back! I've missed him! It's weird not having a sibling on a mission though... How am I old enough to have two brothers who are RM's?!

*I celebrated my two year anniversary of living in my house with my lovely roomies this past month. Goodness, I love them. I just have the best roommates. We all are our own kind of weird, and we all have different taste in men, which I think is why we get along so great! Oh, this was me two years ago, when I first moved in. I just love my house! 

*I bought more books... That's just a side note. I love books. I'm pretty sure I have more books than clothes.... I know. I just love reading too much. I am in love with all these LDS authors right now. Sara Eden, Julianne Donaldson, etc. I have devoured their work, and it has really been making me want to go back and start writing again. I always wanted to be an author when I was growing up, and I think I'm going to do it. 

*I've been watching The Office a lot, and now everyone thinks I'm hilarious, but I really just get it all from The Office. Anyway, I just watched the  *spoiler alert* episode where Jim and Pam get married last night and every time it brings tears to my eyes. I just love this quote:

Jim is too perfect for words. And you better believe I looked all emotional like Andy right there. :)

Anyways, that's the update of my life. I know. It's really just a quick overview... but I'll try to be better.
