Starships Were Meant To Fly

It's my half birthday today.... 6 months away from being 23... Wow. Turning 22 felt like nothing, but 23? .... I'm getting old. Wow. I never thought this day would come. For some reason I thought I would be 18 forever, and now I seem to be aging so fast, my feet can barely keep up. It's ridiculous.

It was Mother's Day this past weekend, so my little brother, Richard, got to call home and talk to my family! I wasn't home to get to talk to him, but I got to hear from my family that he is doing great out in Florida. Oh! I guess I should explain. Richard is serving a mission for our Church, and so he only gets to call home on Christmas and Mother's Day. :) He's doing great. He sent some pictures home:

This was him when he was in the MTC

Him with the Elder Larson's, and someone they baptized. :)

Anyways, so it's always good to hear from him. I'm so proud of him! He's awesome!

I went hiking with my friends Chris and Brent yesterday. We hiked the Y, in Provo. It was super.... hot... and fun. Afterwards we hung out at Brent's apartment, and I noticed some weird looking dots on my leg. I think it was a rash of some sort from a plant I must have touched when we were hiking, but I honestly have no idea where it came from. Pretty sure I'm gonna die or have to have my leg amputated. Here's a picture of the rash:

And here's some pictures from the hike:

Yep. Exciting stuff. One of my coworkers got married this past week, and so a bunch of us from work went to her reception. Here's a picture of that:

And finally, I dyed my hair again.... it's a dark brown-ish color. It has already faded a lot... I really want to go blonde again, so we will see how long this lasts.

Anyways, that's a basic update of my life. The museum has been open for six months this weeks, and my little sister, Emma, graduates from high school this week, so life is pretty exciting around here.
